John Henderson, Managing Director of Ocean Kinetics Limited, has been appointed to the Board of Lerwick Port Authority as a non-executive member.
The appointment was made by the Appointing Body to Lerwick Port Authority following a public recruitment process.
Taking up his appointment at the Board’s meeting today, John is filling a vacancy created by the untimely death of past chairman Harry Jamieson in June.
The Authority’s Chairman, Brian Anderson, said “I am very pleased to welcome John to the Board of the Authority. We have attracted a member that can bring expertise to the board in areas such as oil & gas, marine and engineering, all of which are relevant at this time. We look forward to working with him”.
