Work colleagues past and present gathered recently at the Port Authority's Operations Centre to mark the retirement of Port Controller, Brian Robertson.

During his time with the Port, Mr Robertson initially served as Foreman at Holmsgarth before taking up a permanent position in Port Control in 2006.
Commenting on Mr Robertson’s service, Harbourmaster, Captain Calum Grains, said “Brian has been a dedicated and valuable member of staff and we wish him all the very best for a long and happy retirement”.
