44 yachts are expected in Lerwick from the evening of Thursday 22 June 2017 for the annual yacht race from Bergen.
Lack of wind at the start of the race on Wednesday morning has meant a slow race and yachts will arrive over Thursday night into Friday.
The Race Office on Victoria Pier is ready with a welcome from the volunteers that assist the race at Lerwick.
Joining the Norwegian race are six competitors also undertaking the 1000 Mile Race which started in the Netherlands on 14 June.
The next leg of the race back to Bergen departs Lerwick at 4pm on Saturday 24 June.
