Lerwick Harbour’s role as a main hub of activity for the offshore oil and gas industry is being highlighted on two fronts in early September.
- The Port Authority is again exhibiting at the biennial Offshore Europe exhibition in Aberdeen, one of the leading international events for the sector.
- To coincide with the show, the latest in our occasional series of update Bulletins has a focus on our extensive involvement in the industry.
Both marketing initiatives feature port operations at the forefront of decommissioning offshore structures, as well as the wider role, including support for subsea developments, and the continuing evolution of harbour infrastructure.
