The departure of the Tall Ships fleet which was scheduled for Sunday 24 July has been postponed for 24 hours.
The arrangements for the departure and the Parade of Sail for the Race from Lerwick to Stavanger will instead take place at the same time on Monday.
There will now be no fishmarket at Lerwick on Monday but the auction is available for landings at Scalloway.
The cruise ship “Crystal Serenity” call at Lerwick on Sunday is cancelled due to the weather.
The quayside sites were already programmed for entertainment on Sunday and there has now been an extension into Sunday evening at the Victoria Pier and Laurenson Quay sites. The crew facilities along the waterfront will be available for the extended time.
